33 Weeks Picture!

Belly is getting BIG!! lol.

33 weeks along!

Only about 7 more weeks to go!!

I had another appointment yesterday (I'm now at the point where they want to see me every 2 weeks)! It was an in-&-out appointment. She just checked the heart beat and how big my belly was getting. Everything looks great! I'm gaining a normal amount of weight, mine & baby's hearts sound good, and he is now in the 'head down' position!

I did ask about when I'll be getting another ultrasound and she said, "Oh we usually don't do those at the end anymore because height & weight are always off and they don't tell us much." What? I don't care! I want to get a glimpse of what he's going to look like with a 3D ultrasound.. But since I was only talking to the mid-wife and not my Dr., I didn't say anything. I figured I'd talk to my actual Dr. at my next appointment about it. But just to be sure.. I called Kristy. Kristy is one of my best friends and she works that the doctor's office where they would send me to get my ultrasound done at. She said that Tricare already approved an ultrasound for me and that if my Dr doesn't set one up, she would! :) Thanks Mother Hen! What would I do without you? So hopefully I'll be getting an ultrasound here in the next couple weeks :)

Other pregnancy stuff..

Cravings? Some. Nothing crazy.. I usually crave lots of milk, bananas and glasses & glasses of ice water at night. I also like my ice cream but who doesn't? ;)

Movement? He is still moving quite a bit (while I'm trying to fall asleep..) but that's ok because I'd rather him keep me up because of moving then not move at all!

Sleepy? Yes! But I do feel like the iron pills are finally starting to fix my anemia because I am feeling like I have a little more energy. But sleeping all night and 2 long naps a day with Addie still sounds good! :) I just hope that after I have Nathan, I get my energy back because I'll be lucky to even sleep at night and have no naps..lol.

I think that's it for now.. I can't think of anything else that's going on with my pregnancy.. lol

32 Weeks!!

So I'm 32 weeks along now! I'm so glad that I'm almost done being pregnant and I'll be holding our new baby in my arms soon! I'm still feeling tired all the time but lucky for me, Addison sleeps all night and takes 2 long naps with me during the day :). I've been taking iron pills because I'm anemic but I don't feel like it's working.. and I feel like I'm really big and I can't believe that I'm still going to get bigger..lol.

24 Weeks

So I'm 24 weeks along now! Nathan is still moving all the time.. We had a little scare the other night.. kinda. I woke up around 2am feeling contractions. They weren't painful but they were happening almost every minute.. I called the on-call OB and she told me to go to the birth center to get checked out. So my mom slept in my room with Addie and my dad drove me to Rouge Valley BC. The Dr. there said that the contractions weren't strong enough to worry about and I wasn't dilating or anything. She sent me home and told me that if they didn't stop by morning to call my OB. Well when I fell asleep, I was still contracting but when I woke up, I wasn't anymore and haven't since. Thank goodness! It was just a bad case of Braxton Hicks.

Other then that, everythings been fine. I feel like I'm really big for being 24 weeks. I could tell people that I'm due in July and they'd probably believe me. Hopefully I don't get too big.. but what can you do.. Everyone says it's because I'm small.

Addison & I went for a walk around the block today :) It was really nice this afternoon! I just can't wait for it to get warm enough to get in the pool! Speaking of swimming, Addison starts her swim lessons at Rouge Scuba on Monday! It's a 3 week class twice a week. I'm not sure how they're going to teach babies/toddlers how to swim but at least she'll have fun in the water with mommy :)

23 Weeks Along

I am now 23 weeks and 2 days along! Over the half way mark! :) Baby Nathan is moving soo much.. All day and all night. I don't have a lot of baby stuff for Nate yet (this is also pre-baby shower..) but I have gotten a couple of things :)

Baby Registry!

I set up a baby registry on target.com today! Like last time, I only put things like baby gear & bedding & decor items on. I figured that people are mainly going to get clothes and that sort of thing so it's pointless to fill up my registry with a million cute outfits. So I put things up like a Graco infant car seat (I have a perfectly good Graco stroller so I don't really need the whole Travel System), a double stroller, a rug, blankets & other decor. I already have his crib set! I love it! It's sports-themed and I love the colors! The quilt!

Round Three

Yup, there are two pink lines! I'm pregnant again! :) Soon huh?! literally from the end of the last pregnancy to the very beginning of this one, it was only about a month in between. We found out last week and so far we've only told our parents & siblings. We don't want to start telling everyone until after we see an ultrasound or after 10 weeks-ish because the last pregnancy only lasted about 10 weeks and we'd rather not go through all that again.. So right now I'm 6 weeks 4 days pregnant which means my due date will be September 23rd (yes, another 3rd) ;).

We feel very blessed that we're were able to get pregnant this quickly & we'll be praying that this pregnancy is a success.

So far I've been able to smell everything, my boobs hurt, I'm always exhausted, and I'm hungry all the time. But no pregnancy related sickness, cravings, or headaches.

I'll have more updates after my first check up which will probably be in a million years because that's how the military hospitals work =/

Miscarriage

Well, I had a miscarriage last night. :(

It started with a little bit of cramping and spotting yesterday afternoon and then around 11pm, it was bad enough for me to go to the ER. My mom watched Addie (who was sleeping..) while Jen took me to the hospital. We were there until about 3am and after an ultrasound and a couple of other tests, they told me that I had had a miscarriage. I was really upset and it didn't help that Loren wasn't answering his phone all night.

I'm feeling a lot better today. And I've reminded myself that God is in control and that everything happens for a reason.

I'd also like to thank everyone who prayed for me last night/today. I feel like prayer has really helped me. I was a mess last night when I was in the hospital and when they finally told me that I miscarried, I was heart broken. But I feel fine now. I love my friends and family. They are such an awesome support system :)

Getting Ahead Of Myself

So.. I've, of course, been thinking about baby names.. ;)

I've had a girl name picked out for a while.. I used to have this dream over & over around the time when Addison was born.. In the dream I could see Addison as a little kid about to walk into school and she had her little sister standing next to her. Addison had blond hair and the smaller girl had dark brown hair in a pony tail. Both girls had backpacks on with their names. Addison's said "Addison" and the other girl's said "Haylee".. I had this dream about 5 or 6 times. So, since then I've decided that if we have another girl, her names would be Haylee Joy :)

I've told Loren about the name Haylee before and I'm not sure if he really likes it. But he says it doesn't matter because this second baby is going to be a boy. Loren said that Addie was going to be a girl from the beginning of that pregnancy too. So he's probably right. :)

When it comes to boy names, I tend to like older names. I really like Lucas, Nathan, Brandon, Brayden & Landen.. I'm not sure how Loren feels about Brayden or Landen but he likes the other ones. Hopefully we can just pick one and get it over with. ;)

Out of all those boy names, I think Brayden & Lucas are my favorite. Loren's family calls him Lu and it would be cute if our son had the same nickname..lol :)

And speaking of getting ahead of ourselves.. Loren & I love this crib set if we have a boy! Its so Loren. I love the blanket! So cute. It's the Little Bedding by NoJo - Lil Champ 4-Piece Crib Bedding Set from Walmart. :)

Baby #2

Loren & I are expecting baby #2! We just found out yesterday and we're pretty excited!

The last time we got pregnant, it took us about 8 months. So we decided to get off birth control about a month ago and start trying. Well, apparently it's a lot easier to get pregnant a second time because it only took us a month ;). We were shocked that it happened so fast but we couldn't be happier! Our kids will be a year & 1/2 apart which is just like my brother & I.

I am about 5 weeks & 4ish days along. And according to my last menstrual cycle, the baby should be due July 3rd. Which is really funny because all of our b-days are on a 3rd. Loren's is May 3rd, mine is August 3rd, Addie's is Dec 23rd, our wedding anniversary is July 3rd (the due date), and even Sadie was born on May 23rd. Crazy!

I will give you more updates after our first appt! :)
