Tattoo?

So I've decided that if I ever do get a tattoo, I want this one. But without the red heart. I really like how this one looks. And I wouldn't get it on my side. It would have to be somewhere that doesn't get effected by pregnancy ;)

Guss' Brother

So Saturday when we were up at Big Bear, Melissa spotted someone walking this dog.. It looks JUST like Guss! Ears standing up and everything! Janice ended up going to the lady and asking her what kind of dog it was.. She didn't know either.. She said that she found him on the side of a HWY and rescued him. Loren & I really think that he's from the same litter as Guss. And the funny thing is, she was walking a German Shepherd too..haha. Small world!

This picture kinda sucks but I didn't want to seem obvious pointing my camera at strangers standing 20 feet away and taking pictures of their dog..lol

The Proposal!

Today was Mel's 23rd birthday and since Brent's in the field, Loren & I made her dinner and then Loren watched the babies while we went to the movies & saw The Proposal. This is movie is now on my list of favorite movies! It was so funny! I love Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock & Betty White. I think they're all hilarious! And it was a cute love story too. This is a movie that I'm definitely going to buy when it comes out!

Big Bear Lake

Yesterday Loren, Addison, Mel, Trenten, Bill, Jana & I spent the day at Big Bear Lake! It was a lot of fun. Right when we first parked at the lake, it started raining. Actually, more like down poring. It was actually really nice! & it only lasted a little while then the sun came out and it was warm again. Loren & Bill fished unsuccessfully and us girls walked around with the babies on the beach. It was a really nice day! Big Bear is only an hour away and its like going to Oregon without the long drive. Also, the mountain behind the lake is a ski resort too, so in the winter we can go boarding! I cant wait!

Just Thought Of Something..

I really liked the name Paisley for our new puppy but I just thought of something. If her name is Paisley then she'll be Paisley Pickard and her initials will be P.P.! No thank you! So sadly, the name Paisley is out. And we still don't have any other names yet..

Daddy Messing With Addie

He put her stuffed turtle on her head! Lol. She didn't know it was up there for like 3 minutes :) And here he put her blankie on her head like a towel. :) Apparently he likes to put stuff on her head ;)

Books Books Books

I've really been getting into reading lately. I just finished the Twilight Saga for the second time. I'm glad I read them again because I was able to watch Twilight and see things that I missed before. I'll probably re-read New Moon again right before the movie comes out :) But after reading it again, I've realized that they make me mad! I really wish Bella would just stay with Jacob! Hes way cuter and has a way better personality.. I'd choose Jacob if I were her. Plus, I hate how intimidated Bella always feels around Edward. She's never 100% comfortable with herself around him, unlike how she is around Jacob. Even when he just looks at her, she gets all flustered.. Anyways..enough about that..

Loren & I watched the newest Harry Potter movie with his family this weekend & we've decided to start reading the books. We've both read the first one when we were in sixth grade but never any of the other ones. So we ordered all seven of them and just got them in yesterday. Loren has duty today so he took one to start. I ordered all the movies on netflix so that I can watch the movies after each book.

I think I prefer to read books that are part of a series. Its more exciting for me. But I'd really like to get into a different series.. Maybe one that is meant for adults and not 5th graders..lol Any suggestions? I really don't like buying/starting a book that I've never heard anyone talk about.. I don't like getting 6 chapters into it and realizing that I don't like it. That's probably why I usually go for books that are now movies. Like a lot of Nicholas Sparks' books! I love them and the movies too.

Well let me know if you have any suggestions.. I like books that are romantic thrillers with humor in it too. And not tear-jerkers.. I'd rather laugh then cry.

Greece!

Loren and 8 other marines get to train in Greece for 3 weeks in September! I'm so happy for him! That's such a neat place to go. I'm defiantly going to make him take our camera and bring be back some cool pictures :) and a cool souvenir! He's gotten to see so many cool countries while in the Marines. I'm just glad Iraq wasn't the only one he went to. There's Korea, some Japan, some Germany, some Iceland, Iraq and now Greece :)

So I stumbled over this picture and it made me miss my old car. I really miss the sunroof and my leather seats. Plus, I looked dead sexy in it ;) lol.

August 2006

German Shepherd Puppy!

We did it! We bought a German Shepherd puppy :) She's soo stinkin' cute! She looks just like the puppy in the picture a couple posts back. She's still not old enough to come home with us but we can go get her in 2 weeks! I can't wait! It's kinda a good thing that we have to wait to bring her home because now we have time to get her stuff and set up our backyard for her. & we have to also set up our laundry room so that she can stay in there during the day because it can get really hot here. Its going to be wonderful! And she and Guss will be great friends! They are both really playful. I'll put pictures up as soon as we get her :) Now we just have to think of a cool girl dog name for her.. Any suggestions? I like Bella, but of corse, thats a no-go from Loren ;) I also like August & Paisley (We get her august 1st..so thats why I liked August).

Hair

So I've decided that I want to grow my hair back out..all the way out :) I really like having short hair because its easier but I really miss my long hair. Its going to take a couple years probably to grow it back out but I'm willing to wait. I'm just not a 'short hair' kind of girl. So thats my new personal goal. Wish me luck!

No More Deployments :)

Loren has recently been informed that the next time his platoon deploys it will be a MEU and it will start February of 2011. Loren gets out in January 2011 so he won't have to deploy ever again :) We will just be here in So.Cal for the next year and 5 months then go back home! I'm so happy! We only had to go through one deployment and its already behind us. This puts a big weight off my shoulders and now he can just skate until he gets out. And if we get pregnant anytime soon, we don't have to worry about him not being there for the birth (not that we're actually thinking about that yet!).

New Puppy?

So, Loren & I have been talking a lot about buying a German Shepherd puppy. He really wants to get one young so that we can train it ourselves. I'm really excited about it. We have an okay sized backyard & we usually go on walks everyday so I'm not worried about the pup not getting enough exercise. Plus I'm sure that Guss & the puppy would be best friends. :)

We've done some research and found a couple of places near by that have puppies for sale. One is near Riverside but those puppies are only a couple weeks old and we won't be able to get one until they are about 8 weeks. & the second place is near Loren's dad's house and they are 5 weeks old. Also wouldn't get those until 8 weeks. So we're probably going to the first place tomorrow after Loren gets off work then we'll go check out the second place this weekend! Wish us luck! We are really looking for a male, but a female will do too. & we want it to look the the one in this picture (lots of black with some tan). I cant wait! I hope it works out!

The Coast!

Loren, Ryan, Andi, Addison & I went to the coast while we were home. It was so nice! It was a little cold but it was sooo pretty :) It was Addie's 2nd time to the beach but this beach is way different then Huntington Beach..lol It was also our 2 year wedding anniversary :) It's strange to think that we've been married for 2 years already.. AT&T Internet Cards...

Don't ever get this! I love at&t but this is such a rip off! Loren & I got this about a month & 1/2 ago and it worked great..Then we got a bill... It was wayyyy more then they said. Plus we got charged up the butt for using ''too'' much internet! There's a limit? I guess so. They never told us that there was. So it was a rip. It's only good if you never get on the internet.. grrr. Trust me, don't get it. Its not worth it.
