Lets Dance!!

So I've spent years, YEARS, hating the Xbox for taking my husband away for hours at a time.. Once he started playing he would zone out forever. So I was so extremely happy when he decided to give it up and sell his Xbox! Yay more family/us time! But then they came out with the Kinect... I wanted one so bad! I hate video games because of how you sit in front of the tv and do nothing.. But a video game that you have to stand up and jump around is awesome!! And for the first time in our marriage, we don't own an Xbox... Lame. So with the little extra "fun" money we have, we spent it on the Xbox + Kinect & we each picked out a game! We have Sports, Call Of Duty {his choice}, and Dance Central for me! It is soo much fun and a great work out too! Now I don't have to go to a gym if I want to take a Zumba class {getting that one next btw}! And Addie loves them too! She'll copy us when we're playing :)

I totally recommend getting one! Or at least something similar :)

Chunky Monkey!

So 3 weeks ago Nathan had his 4 month check up and he weighed 15lbs 11oz and was 26 inches long.. We had a little check up for him yesterday and he is still 26 inches long but now he's 16lbs 14oz!! Geez big boy! He went from 75% in weight to 90% in 3 weeks. I have 2 big babies that are going to out grow their mommy by the time they're 5 ;) lol.

Beautiful Day In January

It has been so nice here the past couple days! I love this kind of weather.. Sunny but not too hot :) Addison has been playing out back and we took the kids to the park on Monday. Addison had a lot of fun but I think Nate thought it was too bright ;)

Shots Make Mommy Cry!

Took the babies to their 2 year old & 4 month old check ups Monday. They are healthy and everything went great but they both had to get shots :( Nate did fine. He cried for a couple seconds then forgot about it...lol. But Addie was soo scared. She knew it was coming and the nurse made me hold her down! She was kicking and crying and looking at me with those big "help me mommy!" eyes.. I was tearing up by the end of it :( I think that will be the last time I take her for shots. I'm going to make Loren go instead so I don't feel like a bad mommy. Anyhow, here are some pictures I took a couple days ago :) Nathan is 26 inches long and he weighs 16 pounds! He was in the 25% for height and weight when he was 2 months old and now he's 50% for height and 75% for weight! Baby boy is starting to be a cute little chunk :)

Addison is 36 inches tall (3 feet) and weighs 29 pounds! She is still in the 95% for height and 75% for weight. She's going to be tall like her daddy! Poor short mommy :(

Addie's Bow Holder!

I finally did it!! After seeing something similar to this about a year ago, I finally made one for Addie! I'm not sure why it took me so long.. It was a super easy project. Well, here it is :)

It's not really being held up by that tiny tac.. I hung up the picture frame the normal way :)

New Years Resolutions!

*What I'd like to accomplish by December 2011*

1. Workout: I would love to get a gym membership with my sister and take some sort of workout class 3-4 times a week. I'd also like to run every morning when the weather starts getting better.

.

2. Church: I really want to get involved in our church again. It's been a long time since we've gone to church regularly and I would love for Loren & I to start being closer to God together. Even if I'm worrying about the babies the whole time because they're in the daycare. (putting the kids in a daycare causes me stress)

.

3. Job: I want Loren to have the job he wants and I want him to enjoy it! Every thing's going to be up in the air until he gets a good job. He's applied for the police department and the sheriff's department here and I really don't see why he wouldn't have a job with one of them.. He's a vet which is going to help a whole lot. And I would love it if he can have a good enough job so that I don't have to work and I can stay home with the babies. I love that I've been able to do that with the military and I'd like to continue :) I'm spoiled like that..

4. Home: It would be AWESOME if we got the chance to buy a house! Loren & I want to live on the out skirts of town and have some property. We've always talked about finding & buying a house young and it being the house we always live in.. It'll be the house our kids grow up in and come home to after they move out :) We want our first house to be our 'home'.

5. Photography: So Rachel text me the other day and wanted to set up a day were I took her family photos. I was soo excited! I would love to try to get into doing photography on the side. This year I want to learn how to really use my camera and to get good at it. This is also a goal of my sister's and it's something we want to do together. I just need her to buy her own camera so she doesn't have to use mine all the time ;)

6. Car: So over 2 years ago Loren & I traded both our vehicles in for our Tacoma. It's was great while he was in the military because we only needed 1 car and it was a truck but the cab was like a car (good for family and hauling stuff). But now that he's done with the military, I'd like to have my own car now please! I'm sick of driving big vehicles.. I want a car or maybe something a tiny bit bigger.. But nothing as big as a van or truck. Anyways, the plan is to get me one after he gets a job!

7. Me: I've spent the past 3 years (3 years in March) being pregnant, post pregnant, pale with bad hair, bad skin and bad nails.. So this year I'm going to get fit, eat better, go tanning!, get hair cuts/color done regularly, start getting my nails done, and wearing clothes that are cute and not just my comfortable clothes!
